Project tasks included on-site inspections of hazardous material storage areas, review of waste treatment/disposal practices and hazardous waste manifests, and evaluation of emergency preparedness/contingency planning programs. Determined the regulatory status (federal and state) of the waste streams and storage areas using USEPA Regulations 40 CFR Parts 262 and 265. Characterized on-site hazardous waste streams, which included metal-bearing solutions, organic solvents, paints, caustic materials, and pesticides.
